One thing that was talked about in the past and I haven't seen anything since: International titles and splitting Skill Hunter up by continent. When will that happen, because it was originally projected to be in January?

Lots of good changes here. Log-in is great. I like the mini-pet change. Always thought it was dumb we couldn't activate them in towns. That's when everybody is just standing around or dancing or drumming or whatever. Would be cool if the pets would take "action" on one another.

The miniature racing sounds intriguing!

Paragon diversity and balance. Once we’ve had more time to see the most recent changes in effect, we’ll see if further changes are needed.

There's a definite need for tweaking the Paragon. Hope they come up with some good stuff to make it a more viable profession without being overly powerful.

Good PvE options for Mesmers.

YAY! PvE Mesmers do need a little love! Even though there are a few good PvE builds out there, there are no "great" ones.
Now I'm a bit nervous...

Ranger pet adjustments. We're pleased to say we have a rudimentary version of pet controls up-and-running on our test servers. We’re looking forward getting those into the live game as soon as we’ve examined all of the play balance issues this might introduce.

Sweet!!! Trying to pull with a pet is kinda tough when they take off as soon as you let an arrow fly.

That's a ridiculous non-pet-user type thing to say. Pet's are awesome *when used properly by someone who has a clue* but its a fairly steep learning curve with some severe limitations (like limited to PVE). Ever seen a pure beastmaster in GVG/HA on observer mode though (not EVEN counting petsmite). They aren't used, undervalued. Pet's can't really spike vs human players as it is now since, well it'd be no secret who's gonna get spiked, you just prot em and throw some aoe there...gg pets. In PVE however a beastmaster build IS the Ranger pure damage attribute (not bows) and shiznit. Who loves 120 damage vs monk targets? WE DO! Pet controls which *may* improve this role in PVP would be fantabulous.

Yeah I noticed, I rolled out a W/R with a pet as an extra "tank" after many deaths I renamed my pet "Dumb Cat"

That's because you don't know how to do it... it's a skill... us beastmasters know how...
Meaning the cat's only as dumb as the 'master' :P
Truly this is part of the problem in all seriousness... one shouldn't need 100 hours of training to learn how to pull with a pet.

Cool update!
I'm still wondering about the Challenge Mission Ladder...I thought there already was one...perhaps the new one will be more worthwhile?
Pet controls sounds cool, as well as minipets, I hope minipets don't lag up the servers
Sounds cool anet!

Well its good to see Anet has the right idea anyway. Since my only pve is a ranger, Im glad to see changes to the bow skills and pets. Unless they nerf dshot and savage to force different skills to be used, they pretty much can only be improved.

Intriguing. I always thought they were just plain bad. Never heard of "Beastmasters". Guess its time for me to learn. Off to kill Shiro and get that flying pet and lvl him up, tired of a retarded Melandrus Stalker like everyone else has.

"...Gw.exe" -password XXXXX
There, I did it too. Where's all my cheering?
Minipets in town are a stupid idea. Last thing I want to do is go to a nice quiet town... and have to put up with the roar of a Kuunavang. If they want to tweak around with the source code of towns, maybe have them fix clipping issues with NPCs while they're at it. I'm tired of getting caught up on some silly Dwarven Soldier when I'm running from Drok's armor to the Rune/Dye traders... or from Ascalon storage to the rune/armor people.
So much better stuff they could be improving. The stupid being-attacked-during-cutscene glitch has been around for, like, what... 2 years?
I wouldn't hold my breath on Mesmers getting a buff. Paragons needed a buff... instead, they got a nerf. Speaking of which, why the nerf to "They're On Fire!"? It's not like I've seen anyone abusing this skill. "Dear Anet, please do not buff my broken toy."

Gaile, has ANET realized that changes to HA are the equivalent to the NEW Coke issue, and that the way to fix HA is to give us 8v8 with propper mechanics?

Nerfing a class beyond practical use for other aspects of the game would lead to a lot of rage quitting. What's your point? By rendering the majority of the Paragon's support skills useless, they've simply turned them into rangers with a different skin... not to mention that spears don't have the variety that bows have. Paragons are no longer "Inspirational beacons in the darkness," but rather "that guy with a stick."
